According to a new report from the Technology website known as The Verge and on Nintendo Company’s Japanese website. The 3DS has been discontinued, the page lists the New 3DS LL, New 2DS LL, and 2DS are still ‘live’ but listed under “out of production” under its name and with a message that the entire series has ended production that Japanese Twitter Users also noticed, but not certain when the changes had been made. Meanwhile, the US site for Nintendo had scrubbed all mention of the handheld console, leaving a support link near the bottom, under another certain console that had ended production, the Wii U.

Nintendo first announced it in 2010, and it was released later in the year, at first, the console had a rocky start and faced low sales and little software but took a dramatic turn when it had a price cut a few months into its release, the Company offered 20 NES and Gameboy Advance Games free to download as a way of apologizing.
