Kazue Kato’s Blue Exorcist makes its return to Jump Square after 9-Month Hiatus

After what felt like an eternity, Rin and Yukio are back in a brand new chapter of Blue Exorcist in the June Issue of Shueisha’s Jump Square, which is available now in Japan.

In the August 2021 issue of Jump Square, it was announced that Blue Exorcist would be going on hiatus for eight months and would make its return in April 2022. At the time, she would be launching the adaptation of Fuyumi Ono’s Eizen Karukaya Kaiitan (Strange Tales from the Handy Shop Karukaya) horror novels as a short six-chapter manga mini-series that debuted in the October 2021 issue of Jump Square.

The Short Series concluded in April, Kato said, that “12 years of fatigue exploded” and took a month off to rest before resuming Blue Exorcist.
